Terms of Service: The House Rules for Every Tchatche Call

Last updated: October 17, 2026

Please read this before you use Tchatche. It explains who can use the site, what we expect on every call, and what happens when the rules are broken.

1. Agreeing to These Terms

These terms apply whenever you use Tchatche: the website, the mobile browser version, video matching, calls, messages, purchases and anything else we offer under the Tchatche name. By using the site you confirm that you have read these terms and our Privacy Policy, and that you agree to both.

If you do not agree, please stop using Tchatche. If we update the terms and you keep using the site afterwards, we treat that as acceptance of the new version.

2. Who Can Use Tchatche

Tchatche is for adults. If you are under 18, or below the minimum age where you live, you may not use it. You may also only use the site if the laws that apply to you allow it.

If you create an account, you are responsible for giving us accurate information and for looking after your login. You agree to:

  • Provide truthful details and keep them up to date.
  • Never use someone else's identity, or false or stolen information, to sign up.
  • Keep your account to yourself: do not sell, rent or hand it over.
  • Leave security checks and rate limits alone.
  • Tell us promptly if you think someone else has gained access.

3. What Tchatche Offers

Tchatche is a place to meet new people on live 1-on-1 video calls. You can open the site without registering, start a match and talk. Depending on the day, the site may also offer messaging, account tools, coins and premium options. You can see how the basics fit together on how Tchatche works.

We may add, change, limit or retire features whenever we have a legal, technical, security or business reason. We cannot promise that any feature will always be available, or that it will work without interruption.

4. Your Account and Your Content

Anything you show, say or send through Tchatche is your responsibility. That includes your display name, your picture and what appears on camera. Share only what you have the right to share, and only what you are comfortable having another person see.

Content that is made public may be seen, shared, cached or indexed by search engines. Deleting something does not mean it disappears from search results or from copies held by other services straight away.

5. Rules for Every Call

Use Tchatche lawfully and with respect for the other person. You may not use it to harass, deceive, exploit or harm anyone, or to disrupt how the site runs. In particular:

  • No unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or rights-infringing content.
  • No sexual content involving minors, exploitation, violent threats or hate speech.
  • No pretending to be someone else, or misleading people about who you are.
  • No bots, scripts, scraping or reverse engineering.
  • No scams, off-site payment schemes, spam or abusive commercial activity.
  • No stalking, extortion, pressure or unsafe requests, and no malicious links.
  • Do not capture, screenshot or republish another person's face or voice.

The safety guide turns these into practical advice and explains how skip, block and report work. Matches, response rates, call quality and personal outcomes are not guaranteed, and what you choose to share with another user is up to you.

6. Coins and Paid Features

Tchatche is free to start. Longer or premium sessions can use coins or other paid options. Prices and rules are shown in the relevant screen before you confirm a purchase.

  • Payments may be handled by third-party providers, whose own terms apply. We do not necessarily store your full card details.
  • Virtual items and digital benefits have no cash value unless the law says otherwise.
  • Completed purchases and used services are generally non-refundable, except where the law requires it or a specific offer says otherwise.
  • Fraud, chargebacks and suspected unauthorised use may lead to cancelled orders, limits or suspension.

7. Links to Other Services

We may rely on or link to outside services for things like payments, analytics, hosting and content delivery. They run under their own terms and privacy notices, and we do not control them or guarantee that they will be available or secure. Please read their terms before you use them.

8. Our Rights and Yours

The Tchatche software, design, name and other protected material belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, redistribute, scrape or reverse engineer them without permission.

You keep the rights to what you create. To run the service, you give us the permissions reasonably needed to host, display, process, moderate and store it. If your content infringes someone else's rights, you may be responsible for the consequences.

9. When We Step In

We may look into suspected breaches of these terms, our safety rules, or the law. Where it is reasonably necessary, we can:

  • Remove or restrict content.
  • Warn you, or limit messaging, matching or purchases.
  • Suspend, freeze or close an account.
  • Cancel transactions or reverse benefits, where the law and our rules permit it.
  • Keep relevant records and cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.

If an account is closed, we may delete or anonymise some data after a reasonable period. Some records may be kept where we need them for legal reasons, security, fraud prevention or disputes.

10. Privacy

How we collect, use, share and protect personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. For questions about your data rights, cookies or retention, treat that page as the main reference. Nothing in these terms takes away privacy or consumer rights you have under the law.

11. Limits of Liability

We work to keep Tchatche secure and available, but it is provided "as available" to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free operation or any particular personal, social or commercial result.

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from outside services, other users' content or behaviour, access caused by your own failure to protect your login, or events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update the terms to reflect changes to the site, the law or our risk controls. When the changes are material, we will update the date at the top of this page and may tell you through the site. Using Tchatche after an update means you accept it.

13. Contact
